1. Introduction
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern the use of services provided by CornerClicks LLC (“CornerClicks,” “we,” “us,” “our”). By using our services, you agree to these Terms.
2. Services Offered
We provide a variety of services for local businesses, including:

- Website Design (Standard, Customer-Focused Sales Copy, Custom Photo & Video, Full Service)

- Hosting and Maintenance (Hosting Only, Basic Maintenance, Maintenance + Security & Speed)

3. Payment Terms
Payment is due upon receipt of the invoice. For monthly services, a 30-day written cancellation notice is required. For one-time services, payment plans are available. We do not have long-term contracts, so clients may cancel at any time with proper notice.
4. Service Delivery
We promise to deliver the services outlined in our service descriptions. However, we are not responsible for the client’s business operations, customer data, or any actions taken against the client’s business. For example, while we can set up payment portals, we are not responsible for the data of the client’s customers. Similarly, although we provide reputation management, any actions taken against the client’s business are not our responsibility.
5. Client Responsibilities
Clients must provide accurate and complete information necessary for us to perform our services. They are responsible for their own business operations and any consequences arising from their use of our services.
6. Limitation of Liability
We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services. Our liability is limited to the amount paid by the client for the service in question.
7. Google Business Profile Management
Description: Our Google Business Profile Management service ensures your business appears prominently in local search results. Services include profile setup and optimization, monitoring and responding to reviews, generating posts and offers, adding photos, and monitoring and reporting unethical competitors and spam.
Service Details:
- Profile Setup & Optimization: We will set up and optimize your Google Business Profile by adding details such as services, products, hours, and links to make your profile complete and appealing.
- Monitor & Respond to Reviews: We will monitor and respond to all reviews, both positive and negative, in a way that maintains your brand’s voice.
- Generating Posts/Offers: We will create posts and special offers to keep your profile active and engaging (one post per week, plus any specials or offers you are running).
- Adding Photos: We will upload and manage photos provided by your business to enhance your profile.
- Monitor & Report Blackhat Competitors: We will monitor and report unethical competitors to maintain fair rankings.
- Spam Monitoring and Reporting: We will keep your profile clean by monitoring and reporting spam.
Client Responsibilities:
- Accurate Information: Clients must provide accurate and complete information necessary for profile setup and optimization.
- Content Provision: Clients are responsible for providing photos and any other content needed for posts and profile enhancement.
Limitation of Liability:
- Service Scope: While we strive to maintain and optimize your Google Business Profile, we are not responsible for Google’s algorithms or any changes made by Google that may affect your profile’s visibility or ranking.
- Review Responses: We respond to reviews based on the information provided by the client and are not responsible for any legal implications arising from review content or responses.
- Third-Party Actions: We are not responsible for actions taken by third parties, including unethical competitors or spam activities.
8. Reputation Management
Description: Our Reputation Management service ensures your business maintains a positive image across various online platforms. This service includes everything in the Google Business Profile Management, as well as additional features to boost your online presence and attract more customers.
Service Details:
- Google Business Profile Management: Includes all services provided in Google Business Profile Management.
- Local Search Audit & Reporting: An analysis of your local search presence is conducted, and detailed, interactive online reports are provided monthly.
- Review Monitoring and Responses: Reviews across multiple sites (Facebook, Yelp, Google, BBB, Yellow Pages, Trustpilot, and more) are monitored and responded to in your brand’s voice.
- Review Generation: Reviews are collected through emails (free) or SMS (extra fees may apply) to keep your profiles fresh with new customer engagement.
- Local Search Ranking Monitor: Your business’s ranking in local searches is tracked and presented on a map of your city so you know exactly how high you’re ranking in different parts of town.
- Citation Submissions: Your business information is submitted to hundreds of directories and kept updated and maintained.
- Business Listing Management: Business listings on all major sites are managed and optimized.
- Competitor Reports and Analysis: Insights into your competitors’ activities are provided in our monthly reports so you can see how you stack up.
- Review Widget for Your Site: A customizable widget to showcase your shining reviews on your website, updated as new glowing reviews come in.
- Keyword Research and Monitoring: Keyword research is conducted and monitored to improve your local search rankings.
Client Responsibilities:
- Accurate Information: Clients must provide accurate and complete information necessary for service execution.
- Content Provision: Clients are responsible for providing photos, review requests, and any other content needed for the service.
Limitation of Liability:
- Service Scope: While we strive to manage and improve your online reputation, we are not responsible for changes in platform policies or algorithms that may affect your online presence.
- Review Responses: We respond to reviews based on the information provided by the client and are not responsible for any legal implications arising from review content or responses.
- Third-Party Actions: We are not responsible for actions taken by third parties, including unethical competitors or spam activities.
9. Full Service SEO
Description: Our Full Service SEO enhances your website’s visibility in search engine results, making it easier for potential customers to find you online. This service includes everything in the Google Business Profile Management and Reputation Management, as well as additional SEO-specific tasks.
Service Details:
- Google Business Profile Management: Includes all services provided in Google Business Profile Management.
- Reputation Management: Includes all services provided in Reputation Management.
- Technical SEO: We optimize the backend and code of your site, improving site structure and functionality so search engine algorithms can understand what you offer and what areas you service.
- Front-end SEO: Keywords are implemented in your copy and headings, and content on your site is optimized for algorithms.
- New Content Creation: New pages and blog posts are created twice a month to keep your site fresh, and indicate to search engines to pay attention to your site, since you have new content to offer.
- Google Analytics Monitoring and Performance Reporting: Your website’s performance is tracked, and detailed reports about your website visitors and their actions are provided monthly.
- Keyword Research and Monitoring: The best keywords to boost your search rankings are found and tracked.
- Backlink Building Strategy: Strategies to get other websites to link to yours are developed, which helps signal to search engines that your site has high authority and quality content.
Client Responsibilities:
- Accurate Information: Clients must provide accurate and complete information necessary for service execution.
- Content Provision: Clients are responsible for providing content, photos, and any other materials needed for SEO tasks.
Limitation of Liability:
- Service Scope: While we strive to enhance your website’s SEO, we are not responsible for changes in search engine algorithms that may affect your site’s ranking.
- Third-Party Actions: We are not responsible for actions taken by third parties, including backlinks from unethical sources or changes in linking policies.
10. Social Media Management
Description: Social Media Strategy and Management helps you effectively engage with your audience, build your brand presence, and drive more traffic to your business through various social media platforms. A tailored strategy that aligns with your business goals is created, your social media accounts are managed, and ongoing analysis and adjustments are provided to maximize your social media impact.
Service Details:
- Content Strategy: A comprehensive content strategy that outlines your goals, target audience, and content plan is developed, ensuring that all posts align with your brand’s voice and message.
- Consistent Branding: Consistent branding across all posts, videos, and banners on multiple networks is ensured, maintaining a unified look and feel.
- Custom Graphic Design: Custom graphics that enhance your brand’s visual identity and appeal to your target audience are created.
- Optimized Profiles: Your social media profiles are optimized with compelling descriptions and keywords to improve discoverability and engagement.
- Channel Management: Up to 3 social media channels (e.g., Facebook, LinkedIn, Nextdoor, Alignable, Instagram) are managed, ensuring each platform is effectively utilized.
- Regular Posting: 2-7 quality posts per week per channel are published, based on the best tactics discussed during the strategy phase, to keep your profiles active and engaging.
- Content Creation: Engaging posts, images, and videos tailored to your brand and audience are developed.
- Scheduling and Posting: Content is planned and published regularly to keep your social media profiles active.
- Audience Engagement: Interaction with followers through comments, messages, and live sessions is managed, fostering a sense of community.
- Performance Analytics: Regular reports and insights on your social media performance are provided monthly, tracking metrics like engagement, reach, and conversion rates.
Client Responsibilities:
- Accurate Information: Clients must provide accurate and complete information necessary for service execution.
- Content Provision: Clients are responsible for providing content, images, videos, and any other materials needed for social media posts.
Limitation of Liability:
- Service Scope: While we strive to enhance your social media presence, we are not responsible for changes in social media platform policies or algorithms that may affect your profile’s visibility or engagement.
- Third-Party Actions: We are not responsible for actions taken by third parties, including followers or other users on social media platforms.
11. Website Design
Description: We provide a variety of website design services that cater to different business needs. Our designs are visually appealing and functional, incorporating SEO best practices and accessible design. Everything from content management to security features is handled, ensuring your website effectively attracts and converts visitors into customers.
Service Options:
- Standard Website Design: Includes up to 5 pages optimized for mobile devices, fast loading times, and search engines.
- Customer-Focused Sales Copy: Custom copywriting tailored to persuade visitors and convert them into customers, for up to 5 pages.
- Custom Photo & Video: Includes professional photography and videography services, with high-quality images and 4K videos.
- Full Service Website Design: A comprehensive package that includes everything from standard design, customer-focused sales copy, and custom photo and video services.
Standard Website Design Service Details:
- Full WordPress Website up to 5 Pages: A complete website with essential pages like home, contact, about us, and services is built. Includes all legal pages such as terms of services, privacy policy, etc. (Does not count toward 5 pages).
- Mobile-first Optimized, Fast Design: Websites that load quickly and look great on mobile devices are created.
- SEO-optimized Design: Your site is optimized for search engines to help it rank higher.
- Accessible Design + Accessibility Widget: Websites that are easy for everyone to use, including those with disabilities, are designed.
- Cookies Management & Compliance: Your website is built with legal requirements in mind for cookies compliance and California privacy laws.
- Basic Business Website Copy: Standard content like service descriptions, about us, and testimonials are written.
- Content: Your photos and videos are used, or stock images are provided.
- Basic Contact Forms: Simple contact forms are set up for your website (complex forms may require third party plugin subscriptions depending on your needs).
- Backups Setup: Daily backups are set up to keep your website data safe.
- Basic Plugin Setup and Optimization: Essential plugins for security and performance are installed and configured.
- Cloudflare Turnstile on Forms: Cloudflare is used to protect your site from spam and attacks. It’s a free anti-spam and anti-bot service that keeps your user’s info private.
- Additional Plugins and Functionality: Installation is available for additional integrations, such as payments, bookings, calendars, client logins, etc. Depending on the service and your needs, this may require an extra charge if a project is complex, or may require third party subscriptions. Certain third-party services may affect website performance, and we will do everything in our ability to fully optimize your website.
Customer-Focused Sales Copy Service Details:
- Everything in Website Design: Includes all services from standard website design.
- Customer-Focused Copywriting: Persuasive content to convert visitors into customers is written for up to 5 pages. Additional pages are available on a per-page basis.
Custom Photo & Video Service Details:
- Everything in Website Design + Standard Copy: Includes all services from standard website design.
- Custom Business Photography: Professional photos of your business, staff, and portfolio are taken (portfolios may require a custom quote depending on business type).
- 4K Videography: Videos like an “About Us” company overview and a short, 30-second commercial are produced.
- Customer Testimonial Videos: Testimonial videos from your satisfied customers are created, subject to scheduling and availability.
Full Service Website Design Service Details:
- Everything in Customer-Focused Sales Copy and Custom Photo & Video: Includes all services from both website design packages.
Client Responsibilities:
- Accurate Information: Clients must provide accurate and complete information necessary for service execution.
- Content Provision: Clients are responsible for providing content, photos, videos, and any other materials needed for the website.
Limitation of Liability:
- Service Scope: While we strive to create and optimize your website, we are not responsible for changes in search engine algorithms that may affect your site’s ranking.
- Third-Party Actions: We are not responsible for actions taken by third parties, including issues arising from third-party plugins or integrations.
12. Business Branding
Description: Business Branding helps establish and communicate your brand identity effectively, making your business recognizable and memorable to your local community. Various elements such as logo design, brand messaging, visual style, and overall brand strategy are covered.
Service Details:
- Brand Strategy: A comprehensive brand strategy that aligns with your business goals is crafted, ensuring all branding efforts are cohesive and effective.
- Brand Messaging: Clear and compelling brand messages that communicate your business’s mission, vision, and value propositions are developed.
- Logo Design: A unique and professional logo that represents your brand’s identity and values is created.
- Visual Style: A consistent visual style, including color schemes, fonts, and imagery, is designed to ensure a unified look across all your marketing materials.
- Marketing Materials: Branded marketing materials like business cards, brochures, and social media graphics are designed to enhance your brand presence.
- Online Presence: Your brand is consistently represented across your website, social media, and other online platforms.
Client Responsibilities:
- Accurate Information: Clients must provide accurate and complete information necessary for service execution.
- Content Provision: Clients are responsible for providing content, photos, videos, and any other materials needed for the branding process.
Limitation of Liability:
- Service Scope: While we strive to create and optimize your brand identity, we are not responsible for changes in market conditions or public perception that may affect your brand’s reputation.
- Third-Party Actions: We are not responsible for actions taken by third parties, including unauthorized use of your brand assets.
13. Hosting and Maintenance
Description: We offer various hosting and maintenance services to ensure your website runs smoothly, remains secure, and is kept up-to-date.
Service Options:
- Hosting Only: Fully managed hosting service.
- Basic Maintenance: Regular software updates, full site backups, and monitoring.
- Maintenance + Security & Speed: Comprehensive maintenance with advanced security measures and performance optimization.
Hosting Only Service Details:
- Fully Managed Hosting: All the technical aspects of hosting your website are taken care of and optimized.
- 5 Free Email Accounts: Email accounts for your business are provided (e.g. yourname@yourbusiness.com). More available upon request.
- Fast SSD Drives: High-speed drives for better performance are used.
- SSL Security Certificate Included: Your site is secured with an SSL certificate (required by most search engines and browsers, otherwise your site will display a warning message to visitors that it is not secure).
- Domain Registration: Your domain name is registered for you.
- Additional Domain Names Available: Additional domain names are available, typically $15/year.
- Basic Host-level Security: Basic security for your hosting is provided and optimized.
Basic Maintenance Service Details:
- Hosting and Email: Hosting services and email accounts are included.
- Website Maintenance and Upkeep: Your site is kept updated and running smoothly.
- Site Updates: Regular software and security updates to keep your site current are performed.
- Backups: Your site is backed up daily to prevent data loss.
- Bug Monitoring and Repair: Any issues that arise on your site are fixed.
- Uptime Monitoring: Your site is monitored to ensure it’s always online. (Occasionally, some updates may make your site unavailable for short periods of time, such as major hardware upgrades. These are infrequent and standard across all websites on the internet).
- Functionality Monitoring: All features of your site are checked to work properly.
- Broken Link Fixes: Any broken links on your site are repaired.
Maintenance + Security & Speed Service Details:
- Everything in Basic Maintenance: Includes all services from Basic Maintenance.
- Advanced 3-point Website Security: Top-level security measures to protect your site are implemented at all three major points of vulnerability: your hosting, your website, and DNS.
- Lightning Fast Mobile Speed Optimization: Your site is optimized for the fastest possible loading on mobile devices.
- Advanced Integration with Cloudflare: This service further enhances your security and website performance.
- More Backup Options: More frequent backups and larger storage capacity are offered.
Client Responsibilities:
- Accurate Information: Clients must provide accurate and complete information necessary for service execution.
- Content Provision: Clients are responsible for providing content, photos, videos, and any other materials needed for the website.
Limitation of Liability:
- Service Scope: While we strive to provide reliable hosting and maintenance, we are not responsible for outages or technical issues that are beyond our control.
- Third-Party Actions: We are not responsible for actions taken by third parties, including unauthorized access or cyber attacks.
14. Referral Program
At CornerClicks, we value the trust and support of our clients. To show our appreciation, we’re excited to introduce our Referral Program. This program allows you to save on our services by referring new clients to us.
How It Works:
- Refer a New Client: Simply refer a new local business to CornerClicks. You get $100 off your next bill just for the referral, regardless of whether they sign up.
- Earn an Ongoing Discount: If the referred business signs up for our services, you receive a 10% discount on your total bill for the next 4 months.
- Stack Your Discounts: You can stack these 10% discounts up to a maximum of 50%.
Example Scenario:
- September Referral: Referral made in September. You get $100 off your October bill immediately. If the referral signs up, you get a 10% discount from October to January.
- October Referral: Another referral made in October. You get another $100 off your next bill. If this referral signs up, your discount increases to 20% from November to January, and then a 10% discount in February.
- November Referral: A third referral made in November. You get another $100 off your next bill. If this referral signs up, your discount increases to 30% from December to January, 20% in February, and 10% in March.
- December Referral: A fourth referral made in December. You get another $100 off your next bill. If this referral signs up, your discount increases to 40% from January to February, 30% in March, 20% in April, and 10% in May.
- January Referral: A fifth referral made in January. You get another $100 off your next bill. If this referral signs up, your discount reaches the maximum of 50% from February to March, 40% in April, 30% in May, 20% in June, and 10% in July.
Terms and Conditions:
- The referred business must mention your name at the time of sign-up.
- Discounts are applied to your total bill for services.
- The 10% ongoing discount can be stacked up to a maximum of 50%.
- If no new referrals are made, the discount period and percentage will not extend beyond the initial four months per referral.
- The referral reward program is valid for current CornerClicks clients only.
- Not available on Basic Hosting Package.
15. Intellectual Property
Ownership: All content, design, graphics, and intellectual property created by CornerClicks LLC during the course of service are the exclusive property of CornerClicks LLC until full payment has been made by the client. Upon full payment, ownership of these materials will transfer to the client, except for any third-party materials used under license.
Third-Party Content: Any third-party content used in the services will remain the property of the respective third-party owners and is subject to their terms of use. The client agrees to abide by the terms of use of any third-party content integrated into the services.
Trademarks: The client grants CornerClicks LLC the right to use the client’s trademarks, service marks, logos, and other proprietary marks for the purpose of providing the agreed-upon services.
16. Confidentiality
Definition: Confidential information includes any information disclosed by one party to the other, either directly or indirectly, in writing, orally, or by inspection of tangible objects, that is designated as “Confidential,” “Proprietary,” or some similar designation.
Obligations: Both parties agree to keep all confidential information disclosed to them by the other party confidential and to not disclose or use such information for any purpose outside the scope of these terms without the prior written consent of the disclosing party.
Exceptions: Confidential information does not include information that is or becomes publicly known through no breach of these terms, was in the receiving party’s possession before receipt from the disclosing party, is rightfully received by the receiving party from a third party without a duty of confidentiality, or is independently developed by the receiving party without the use of or reference to the disclosing party’s confidential information.
17. Dispute Resolution
Negotiation: In the event of a dispute arising out of or relating to these terms, the parties agree to first attempt to negotiate the dispute in good faith for at least thirty (30) days before initiating any legal action.
Arbitration: If the dispute cannot be resolved through negotiation, it shall be resolved by binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. The arbitration shall take place in Santa Clarita, California, and the arbitrator’s decision shall be final and binding.
Governing Law: These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
18. Force Majeure
Definition: Neither party shall be liable for any failure or delay in performance under these terms (other than for delay in the payment of money due and payable hereunder) to the extent said failures or delays are caused by conditions beyond that party’s reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, government restrictions (including the denial or cancellation of any export or other necessary license), wars, insurrections, natural disasters, and/or any other cause beyond the reasonable control of the party whose performance is affected.
Notification: The party experiencing a force majeure event shall notify the other party promptly of the occurrence of such event and shall use all reasonable efforts to mitigate the effects of such event on the performance of its obligations under these terms.
19. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Clients will be notified of significant changes.
