I’m Tony, the founder of Furniture With Attitude, and if you’ve been to the shop, you’ve probably already met me. I don’t just own the store. I’m the one helping you design your sofa, pick your fabric, and get the comfort just right. I’ve been in this business for over 30 years, and I’ve seen just about everything the furniture world has to offer.
I got my start in the 1980s unloading trucks, delivering furniture, setting up showrooms, and eventually learning the craft of repair and assembly. It wasn’t long before I was on the sales floor, helping customers and learning what they really wanted in their homes.
By the 1990s, I was the top salesman at a giant discount furniture store. The prices were low, the floor was endless, and most of the furniture was made from particle board and plastic trim. That didn’t sit right with me. I knew furniture could be better than that.
In the 2000s, I moved into the Hollywood scene, working with interior designers, set decorators, and creatives who wanted bold, beautiful furniture made to stand out. I fell in love with higher-quality craftsmanship, and I knew I wanted to bring that to everyday customers—not just industry insiders.
That’s why I started Furniture With Attitude.
This store is my answer to all the mass-produced, low-quality furniture I’ve seen over the years. Here, we offer something different. Every upholstered piece is bench made in the USA, one at a time. Every wood piece is solid, never particle board. And everything we do is designed to last—with better comfort, better materials, and a whole lot more style.
